Traditional Irish Groups are also sought after for wedding receptions and hotel events.
We are collaborating with Seolta who are an exciting newly-formed group from Dublin, made up of four experienced musicians, each bringing their own unique musical contributions. Their music is a fresh approach to both traditional and contemporary tunes and songs arranged sympathetically, sometimes featuring four-part harmonies. Their wide range of instruments provides the perfect accompaniment for the effortless singing of the well-respected Caoimhe Hogarty. Between them their instruments are guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, piano, whistle, voice and bodhran. They have played with greats such as Christy Moore, Declan Sinnott, Hugh Buckley, Liz Carroll and Maurice Lennon, all of whom have been very influential to them. For these four women music has been their lives and, though from diverse musical backgrounds, their vision for this group is collective, to take an uncomplicated and sensitive approach to the music, allowing it to speak for itself. Caoimhe Hogarty, Claire Sherry, Claire O’Dowda and Pauline Burke can assure that there is something for everyone to enjoy when they come to see Seolta in concert.
